Unlike standard clamps, ACL’s patented safety clamp features “gated” segment halves along with a “stepped” eyebolt that has a slightly larger unthreaded diameter. This design requires 10–12 turns of the nut to fully open the clamp. The safety clamp greatly reduces unintentional clamp opening due to incorrect torque, vibration, thermal cycling or user error.
